Visiting Svapas

Can I visit the Svapas studio?

Yes, by appointment. Svapas is a working art studio in Naranpura, Ahmedabad, not a shop with fixed opening hours, so please send a message first. Sneha will share the address and a time that suits you both.

A visit is the best way to see finishes like mirror work, texture and colour up close, to talk through a commission, or to ask about classes before you join. If you would rather see a range of work in one place, look out for our exhibitions in Ahmedabad.

Commission a Piece

How do I commission handmade wall art from Sneha?

Send a commission enquiry with the art form you like, the wall it's for, a rough size, your colours and your budget. Photos of the space help. Sneha replies with a concept and a quotation, and work only begins once you approve them.

For walls, people often choose hand-painted canvases (landscapes, Ganesha, Shrinathji and other devotional art), Lippan mud and mirror mandalas and panels, dot mandala art, and personalised name plates. Every piece is made by hand to your brief, so you choose the size and colours, and anything in the portfolio can be recreated or adapted for you.

Budgets on our enquiry form range from under ₹5,000 to above ₹50,000. Payment is usually an advance to begin, with the balance on completion, and finished pieces are packed with care and can be shipped anywhere in India.

Step by Step

How a commission works

Every commission is one of a kind, made by hand for you and the space it will live in.
