What is Lippan art, and can I order a piece?
Lippan kaam is the traditional mud and mirror relief work of Kutch, Gujarat: raised outlines with small mirrors set into them, so the piece catches the light as you move past it. Svapas makes round Lippan mandalas, tall lotus panels, peacock and yin-yang plates and flower-shaped pieces, and each can be made to your size and colours. Ask about a custom piece, or learn to make your own in our Lippan classes.
